Microsoft To Price Xbox at $149?

A recent report in the Wall Street Journal indicates that Microsoft plans an early April price drop on the Xbox console. Cutting the price from $179 to $149, the move will be carried out in a bid to boost sales and intensify its competition with Sony. It is said the price cut will take effect initially through a campaign at Wal-Mart Stores and then carried out at other major retailers. Microsoft has not commented on a price drop for the Xbox as of yet.

Yeah, I read someone saw it on a Wal-Mart advertisement since the stores get the information weeks earlier.
