Microsoft and Unisys have inked a deal to cooperate on security and emergency management tools, the companies said Monday.

Unisys will integrate Microsoft's technology into its Information Sharing Management framework. Using this ISM system, government agencies can share information on domestic security, including details on potential terrorists and threats.

Such information may originate from federal or state homeland security agencies, driver's license registries or professional license registries.
